Lilliput Treatment Technologies International is a South African company with over 30 years of experience, specializing in modular sewage and wastewater treatment solutions. Our patented systems are designed to be simple, efficient, and cost-effective, catering to both small-scale and large-scale applications. Lilliput’s treatment plants recycle sewage and wastewater, producing purified, reusable water suitable for various purposes, including irrigation and legal discharge into the environment. The technology, which uses up-flow submerged bio-reactors, is recognized for its low maintenance requirements and adaptability to different soil and topographic conditions. Lilliput has received awards and endorsements from entities like South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), Water Institute of South Africa (WISA) and other public sector departments in South Africa. We currently have over 3500 plants across the continent, most being in RSA.
Sizes of our plants range from 2000 litres per day and can go up to 1,000,000 litres per day because it is modular in nature. We can work with existing conservancy or septic tanks and convert them for our plants. We also have an off-grid containerised “Drop and Go” Unit which is a 6-metre container with our treatment plant as well as 8 toilet cubicles (4 male and 4 female); It can be adapted as per customer needs. With our technology of one litre of effluent in resulting in one litre of recycled water out allows the Drop & Go to operate in areas with no water or electricity supply (solar panels on the top of the container).
